Which cookies and similar storage we use, and how you choose.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way. We use both, but only what we list below.
Necessary and optional
Necessary cookies make the site work: your language, your theme, your form draft and your cookie choice. They are only needed to do something you asked for, so they cannot be switched off and need no consent (Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act). The session cookie that keeps our team signed in to the admin area is only set for the team.
Optional cookies are only used with your permission. For now that is analytics: with Google Analytics we see which pages are read and what is clicked, so we can improve the site. Google Analytics is not loaded at all before you allow it.
Google Analytics
If you allow it, Google Analytics stores two cookies under our site's address (in the table below). Google processes this data on our behalf, under its data processing agreement with us. Your IP address is not stored; Google signals and ad personalisation are off, and nothing is used for advertising. What you type into the forms, your name, e-mail address and phone number are not sent to Google. We keep the statistics for 14 months. Google may also process the data in the United States; the basis for that and your rights are in the privacy notice.
Your choice
The first time you visit, we ask. "Only necessary" is as easy as "Accept all". You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page or the button below. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies. We ask again after six months, or when we add a new kind of cookie.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the necessary ones, your language and theme are not remembered; you can still use the site.

Analytics
